cyclops Be a law-abiding citizen (in the case of chat rooms, forums and discussion boards).

- As we all know, all forums have rules. We need to follow them to avoid unwanted circumstances. Following the said rules, we can enjoy
conversations, share thoughts and make friends in any social networking sites.

Forums, chat rooms and discussion boards aren't just any pages that you can just mess around. Those web sites are likely similar to our world. We have given laws that should be followed all the times to ensure safety. In the said web pages, we need to follow the rules in order to enjoy. Razz

cyclops Stealing is a crime (in the case of software downloads, intellectual property rights and copyright laws of articles you copy and paste).

- Admit it, we all download programs, music, games and etc. We copy & paste articles from the internet to do our homeworks and we forget that it is called stealing. We illegally download them because it is the cheapest and fastest way to obtain them without paying money for that album or game and without getting an old crappy book to research with. We aren't cave men anymore, we seek easy ways to satisfy our needs. We now find this as a hobby.

Now a days, it is difficult to illegally download some stuff on the internet. It is because of ACTA, SOPA and PIPA. They're bills made by different countries around the world common is the FBI of the USA. It is to avoid plagiarism. The MegaUpload owner, got arrested for hosting and sharing music illegally and sentenced to 50 years in prison.

Therefore, we need to purchase them to avoid any complicated events.

cyclops Don't waste other people's time (in the case of email spams).

- In social networking sites, Facebook as an example, people find attraction by posting their statuses again and again. This activity is called SPAMS. People spams to get other people's attention and for me, annoying is an alternative word for this.

Irritating people finds this as a hobby. They annoy and waste other people's time. It is a waste of time because, people who receives spams got to take their time on deleting them. With proper "Netiquette" we must avoid spamming to maintain order. And also to show respect for other internet users.

Spams are considered as a false message in the case of e-mails. It is very common to receive spam messages on your e-mail. Spam messages contains false messages for example, a product advertisement or a message that tells you that you won the lottery. Literally, this is a simple way of attracting people.

cyclops Respect people and their privacy (in the case of spying people by reading their emails or using keyloggers to get private information such as passwords).

- Online gamers should know this. As an online gamer it is a total heart break if your game account got hacked. Yes, hacking is a great example on this case. It is possible to be hacked whether you didn't share your game account information to other people. With the use of a keylogger. Keyloggers are programs that can enlist your e-mail, game, FB accounts' information. This mad scheme begins when you log-in your account via FB, twitter and etc. The keylogger automatically logs/save that certain information(usernames and passwords). Then the hacker should gain access with your private accounts like a snap! Evil or Very Mad

So we should respect other people's privacy in just a simple way. By logging out their FB, twitter etc. when you find them still logged in in computer shops. And if you're entrusted by your friends on their account information, don't mess with it. Just imagine, your friend let you know his/her account information of many social networking sites because your friend trusts you.

Idea Be responsible (protection of your computer system against viruses and other threats in the Internet).

- We need to update our computer unit's anti-virus/es to avoid any virus related events. It is a must to take care of your computer's status. It is all to avoid malwares from destroying your computer system.

* For me being a law abiding citizen is to follow rules in the chat room or the discussion boards.

What a Face Stealing is a crime (in the case of software downloads, intellectual property rights and copyright laws of articles you copy and paste).

* I agree that stealing is a great crime especially downloads and/ or copy rights, because the main author worked for it and not you. You might also be put in jail for several months by stealing and/or copyright articles.

What a Face Don't waste other people's time (in the case of email spams).

Be a law-abiding citizen (in the case of chat rooms, forums and discussion boards).

In every website we really need to follow the rules given by the one who made the website so we can show some respect for the one who made the webpage. If we follow the rules it is easy for us to enjoy chatting, and reading about the said website.

cyclops Stealing is a crime (in the case of software downloads, intellectual property rights and copyright laws of articles you copy and paste).

We all download files through internet but now a days their are laws in other country that you should pay for the file that you downloaded through the internet. I admit that i download files, i copy some links, copy some definitions, but all we need is in the internet this days. For example you can make or earn money using internet by making websites for company, tutorial using the internet also and you can find job by searching some sites.

cyclops Don't waste other people's time (in the case of email spams).

Stop spamming persons. If you spam, block the person your just wasting your time so stop spamming persons. Your fooling other persons and your just making yourself bad.

cyclops Respect people and their privacy (in the case of spying people by reading their emails or using keyloggers to get private information such as passwords).

the simple way to respect persons privacy is example: if they forgot to log out their facebook, twitter, etc you should log it out and dont open it if you open it you dont respect that persons privacy.

Idea Be responsible (protection of your computer system against viruses and other threats in the Internet).

We need to update our computer so the computer wont be corrupted. The most important is if you update your computer you can detect the viruses in your computer and you can clean it in a easy way.

- In every website there are laws or rules set , we need to follow these rules set. Following rules is also respecting the the website and the people behind it. Following the said rules are the keys for enjoyment. If you follow you will not be prohibited in the given forum you can enjoy all the features given. So just follow and enjoy!

Stealing is a crime (in the case of software downloads, intellectual property rights and copyright laws of articles you copy and paste).
- Downloading illegally is a form of stealing because you are getting the properties of other people without any permission.Even though it is the easiest and the fastest and also the cheapest one but it is illegal. We this actions several times like downloading music , games , videos , movies and articles that are the answers to our assignments , projects and etc. Before thousands download stuff from the internet at the same time but now there are laws that have been set and whenever you download you have to pay bills. This laws are good and it teaches the people to be responsible with their actions.

Don't waste other people's time (in the case of email spams).
" Time is gold". Yes it's true , time is really important to each one of us , so no one should mess with it and waste it with nonsense things. Doing email-spams is like disrespecting the person and like seeking for trouble. There are spam messages that are really bad and can easily ruin a person's life. Cyber bullying is a form of wasting a person's time . This can also lead to the destruction of life. Some people who experienced or experiences this action can't take the shame and decides to commit suicide. Sometimes it is funny but the person being bullied is put to shame.

Respect people and their privacy (in the case of spying people by reading their emails or using key loggers to get private information such as passwords).
You don't have the right to open someone's account even though he/she is your friend , sibling , parent and etc. you still need to respect his/her privacy. Reading or opening their accounts and e-mail is an act of disrespecting. There are some people who are desperate enough to win so they hack the account of their opponent which is really rampant to online gamers.
We need to respect it even in little ways , when you are in the internet cafe then the person before you forgot to log-out his/her accounts. you should log it out for him. Don't use the opportunity to open it and browse his account.

Be responsible (protection of your computer system against viruses and other threats in the Internet).
You are responsible of your things. You need to take good care of this things just like your computers , you need to update your computer programs to protect against viruses and other threats in the internet.

Idea be a law abiding Citizen (in the case of chat rooms, forums and discussion boards).

We all know that everything has rules to abide with, so as to chat rooms, forums and discussions boards.
we must follow rules that are set by the owners or moderators to avoid conflict and other complicated circumstances.
This places (a.k.a chat rooms, forums and discussions) are places for sharing information and thoughts on some topics we are interested in. So to fully enjoy conversation in this places, we must follow the rules to keep prosperity in forums to avoid the forums or any sharing sites to be locked just because of irresponsible behavior of users.

Idea Stealing is a crime (in the case of software downloads, intellectual property rights and copyright laws of articles you copy and paste).

We all must be honest to ourselves, we download songs, movies, software and other things such as articles free and without consent to those who made. It is what you call stealing. It may be in small ways but a crime is a crime. We don't mind this small details since it doesn't hurt to copy things since we don't really claim them as our own but yet again it is still stealing. Stealing copyrights and property from people who worked hard to made such things. We copy things since it costs less or even free rather than buying the real stuff.

Nowadays, downloading illegally is difficult since there are bills from other countries that are made to avoid plagiarism. One example is how the owners of Megaupload was sentenced to 50 years in prison for illegally host and sharing files.

Idea Don't waste other people's time (in the case of email spams).

in case of people who are fun of SPAMS, please stop your insanity. Not only are you annoying other people but also you degrade yourself by putting a label of being an attention seeker!!!!!

Annoying or pestering people may find this hobby as amusing. For Christ's sake, STOP!!!!!!. you are wasting the precious time on useless things and also people's time on false messages.

Spams are considered as false messages to attract people. Either a false endorsement/ messages or just trolling people around. It is destructive and must be stopped pronto!!!!!

Idea Respect people and their privacy (in the case of spying people by reading their emails or using keyloggers to get private information such as passwords).

Respect is from oneself and others. Privacy is the right to keep your secrets. People who are fond of ogling others are considered as jerks.
Respect others privacy for them to respect yours is an essential rules especially in social websites such as facebook. Online gamers must also be aware of this. Imagine a gamer who lost his account because it got hacked and now is screaming and cursing the hacker. That would be unsightly. The moderators of the game will continue to be burdened because of reports on hacked accounts and will have the hardest time to track the said accounts. Respect for privacy of others is very important to maintain harmony in sites that has personal information but if not respected, one could lead to chaos.

Idea Be responsible (protection of your computer system against viruses and other threats in the Internet).

They say what you own is your responsibility so be responsible. this also includes your computer. it gives you the information you want and other things that can satisfy your need and yet you just disregard it? you must be aware of the state of your computer if one still wants to use it and wants it to last long and be at top condition. Take care of your computer as you take care of yourself because it gives you much in return.

Question Be a law-abiding citizen (in the case of chat rooms, forums and discussion boards). Question

- Chat rooms, forums, and discussion boards are only some ways to communicate and express ourselves. We are free to say our opinions and let our thoughts be out. But even in this cases, there are rules. Rules that should be follow and respected. It is important because internet is not just a simple matter. Instead, the web now is very powerful because of its publicity. Through internet, you can hurt somebody and worse, you can put down the reputation of a person. So we should all know our limits so we will also be respected.

Question Stealing is a crime (in the case of software downloads, intellectual property rights and copyright laws of articles you copy and paste). Question

-Stealing is a crime. We do not let ourselves do that. But do you know that illegal downloading and piracy is also stealing. In this case, I admit that even I also do crime. I download movies, musics, and other stuffs though internet. It is because it is free and easy. We don't need to go to the
mall and buy some CDs which may cost us a lot. That is why 4shared, megaupload, and other website became famous.

But today, downloading stuffs is difficult because we first need to pay some bills before getting it which for me has good and bad effect. good for those legal owners because now, they will earn money. But sad for those people who used to download like me, we need to pay first before we can get what we want.

Question Don't waste other people's time (in the case of email spams). Question

- Time is limited and we don't hold our lives. We should use our time wisely. So why do we need to do nonsense things such as junk emails. Doing this thing will just make other reputations down. What we can do is respect others and make yourself useful to others.

Question Respect people and their privacy (in the case of spying people by reading their emails or using keyloggers to get private information such as passwords). Question

-All of us have things that we want only our selves will know. Privacy is very important even in your accounts because what will be left for yourself if all of the people already know all of you? That is why we need to respect the privacy of others for them to respect ours too. But still, others still invades the privacy of others. So to avoid this, we should keep our pasword and make sure thaty if you open your account in public like in the internet cafes, make sure that you sign out for your account to remain its privacy.

Question Be responsible (protection of your computer system against viruses and other threats in the Internet). Question

-Our gadgets are in danger because of those viruses that is spreading. We need top update always the anti-virus to avoid those malicous softwares from destroying our computer systems. Don't wait that our systems to be affected because if you will repair it, it will cost you much . .

  • Be a law-abiding citizen (in case of chat rooms, forums and discussion boards).

Chat rooms have changed the way that people communicate on the Internet and led to the Instant Messaging protocols that are so popular today. Instant communication in this manner has changed how human beings interact with each other on a day-to-day basis with those not immediately available to them. A chat room is a community of mutual respect. Each has rules and regulations so we should follow them. Following the rules will keep everyone feeling safe and comfortable.

  • Stealing is a crime (in the case of software downloads, intellectual property rights and copyrights laws of article you copy and paste).

I admit that I download soft wares and programs illegally. What’s the need of going to stores? No more need to do so. You don’t have to buy the program of whatsoever that you are interested in. Downloading is time consuming and money saver because you can download as many programs as you like.

Disadvantage is that it’s illegal, you can get caught and have to pay fines, it takes time to download things (if you have a slow internet connection), and you can download malicious files like viruses and Trojans.

People like us should avoid or if not lessen our illegal downloads. We should practice responsibility and discipline.

  • Don't waste other people's time (in the case of email spams).

Many of us get thousands of spam messages a day. So, it's not surprising that people need relief -- they want to do whatever they can to stop spam.

Spammers should stop spamming. They just annoy other people's business. People like us should consider acquiring multiple email addresses for different purposes and consider subscribing to a spam prevention service so that we can avoid spams.

  • Respect people and their privacy (in the case of spying people by reading their emails or using keyloggers to get private information such as passwords).

If your passwords are exposed, your identity can be fraudulently used or even stolen. If your contact information is passed around, you may be subject to spam. If your browsing history becomes public, people will know what you’ve been looking at online. Fortunately, taking certain precautions can reduce the privacy risks that you face.

Strong passwords that are kept secret are one way to safeguard your Internet privacy. For sites such as forums, make sure you read the privacy terms before signing up. To respect privacy is a fundamental concept of many societies. People have a right to peaceful enjoyment, without being disturbed or harassed by others.

  • Be responsible (protection of your computer system against viruses and other threats in the Internet).

Without protection you'd be at the mercy of the virus and you'd have to waste time trying to find it, delete it and restore any damage it has caused and it will still probably be there, even after deletion. Installing an anti virus in our computers protects the user from viruses which are destructive and it protects valuable information on your PC.

We should also be responsible not to download any malicious programs so that we can protect our computers.

-In all sites found on web, there are rules that we need to follow. We should follow these rules set by the website to avoid problems in chat rooms, forum and discussion boards. By following the rules given, we can enjoy its features and we will not be worried of anything that comes wrong.

-Stealing is a serious crime. But on web, we can't really avoid it and I think everyone has done it. We download songs, games and other things every now and then. We even "copy and paste" some articles from webs and we don't even bother to think that its stealing. If we keep on doing this, there's a possibility that we will all end up in jail. To avoid this, we should avoid downloading things on web and also avoid to copy articles. If we really need to, we should recognize the author or writer who really wrote it.

-Email spams are very common on web. Most especially on facebook. For some, spams is used for advertising or getting attention to people. We should avoid on sending spam emails to our friends or to other people so that we can't waste other's time and also our time. If I'm in their place, I would get annoyed to the person who sent that to me.

Internet etiquette or netiquette tells us to be considerate while online. The following are the things that you should remember while using the Internet.. Give your own substantial explanation (why it is significant) for each important point stated (5 points each).

Idea Be a law-abiding citizen (in the case of chat rooms, forums and discussion boards).

◘ All forums have rules. We need to follow those rules and regulations in order to enjoy. We MUST follow the rules to avoid any problems or troubles. RULES are RULES.

Idea Stealing is a crime (in the case of software downloads, intellectual property rights and copyright laws of articles you copy and paste).

◘ We illegally download programs, music, and etc. In doing/making our school works, we often copy and paste articles. We don't recognize those people who exerted their effort in doing that. Who cares? It's just a waste of time. Am I right? But we should at least respect and recognize them. Not just, copying or downloading without any recognition.

Idea Don't waste other people's time (in the case of email spams).

◘ Spam is flooding the Internet with many copies of the same message, in an attempt to force the message on people who would not otherwise choose to receive it.

Through the Internet, it's easier to reach celebrities. You can just post a comment on their FB wall or send a tweet to their Twitter accounts. In social networking sites, like Facebook and Twitter, people post stuff(s) again and again and flood their idol's timeline with crazy tweets. Since many of their fans are doing the same thing, some fans try to one-up others by posting several times or flooding. Bombarding them with messages just to get noticed? Uh-oh, bad idea. You run the risk of irritating or annoying them.

Idea Respect people and their privacy (in the case of spying people by reading their emails or using key loggers to get private information such as passwords).

◘ We all value our personal space and privacy. We don't want our accounts to get hacked. When you're entrusted by your friends on their account information, don't mess with it. Don't use their accounts without their permission. Respect them and their privacy.

Idea Be responsible (protection of your computer system against viruses and other threats in the Internet).

◘ We must update our computer's status. It is our responsibility to take good care of our computers. Avoid downloading anything from an unreliable or untrusted sources. It is all to avoid malwares from destroying your computer system.

Be a law-abiding citizen (in the case of chat rooms, forums and discussion boards).

~ Law was made to for us to follow. If people don't follow simple rules, they don't deserve to use and be part of the chat rooms, etc. Just follow them and you'll have a smooth life. We cannot expect that everybody would follow it but at least we can reprimand them. We must follow the rules made by the people who operates them cause it is for the betterment of the facilities and the system.

Stealing is a crime (in the case of software downloads, intellectual property rights and copyright laws of articles you copy and paste).

~Stealing is a crime, which is true. But we find it easy and less expensive to just download songs, softwares and etc. Most especially, stealing is not good because the real people who made them find a hard time to produce such things and we just copy them which is unfair and illegal. Besides in other countries, people go in to jail because of plagiarism.

Don't waste other people's time (in the case of email spams).

~Emails spams are unpredictably annoying, it waste too much time. Like when you're email is important because you have something important to do with it then you have a long time just to erase spam messages. Spam emails are made by people who doesnt know what else to do and i hope, the site(like yahoo mail) would stop allowing spam messages..

Respect people and their privacy (in the case of spying people by reading their emails or using keyloggers to get private information such as passwords).

~We should all respect other's privacy as much as we want to be respected. Honestly, it annoys me when someone is looking at me when im typing my email or even my password. Who likes it anyway? I mean people should respect privacy cause its way too personal to sneak and look for some not so good things for that person.

Be responsible (protection of your computer system against viruses and other threats in the Internet).

~ Be responsible for your own computer system. Viruses, threats and etc doesn't do good in you own pc or laptop. You should be responsible for your own things, just like when youre downloading some stuffs. Make sure that it is free from viruses to protect your own pc/laptop.

study Be a law-abiding citizen (in the case of chat rooms, forums and discussion boards).

there are always rules everywhere we go, even in chat rooms, forums, and etc. We just have to follow them. Law/Rules are made to follow by the users or the visitors of the said places. For us to have a smooth low we have to follow it. Whether we like it or not, we have to do such rules.

study Stealing is a crime (in the case of software downloads, intellectual property rights and copyright laws of articles you copy and paste).

Stealing is really a crime but most of us still do it. Other do it for comfort; just like less expensive and it lessens our time used just to buy that certain thing from the owner/company. But whatever we do, we copy, we download such things we have to be sure that we are obliged to do whatever consequences we have to face.

study Don't waste other people's time (in the case of email spams).

Email spams should be stopped. it annoys people who really uses their emails for important things. We should all respect the importance of other's email. Never waste other people's time just by sending that email spams. the company(such as yahoo) should do something to stop that insanity.

study Respect people and their privacy (in the case of spying people by reading their emails or using keyloggers to get private information such as passwords).

Respect other's privacy as much as you wanted to be respected. Hackers are all around, i mean, they are all there to hack some profiles and emails. they do it just for fun. they are people who are useless. Its good to have some precautions to protect one's privacy. But whatever bad people do, we should all be careful.

study Be responsible (protection of your computer system against viruses and other threats in the Internet).

We should all be responsible for our own belongings. All, means, our computer system, our gadgets and etc. to keep them safe from viruses, threats, and etc, we should have that reliable anti-virus and protect software to protect our belongings. We are responsible of what we have so we have to take care of it.

Be a law-abiding citizen (in the case of chat rooms, forums and discussion boards).

For me being a law abiding citizen is to follow rules in the chat room or the discussion boards.

Stealing is a crime (in the case of software downloads, intellectual property rights and copyright laws of articles you copy and paste).

i agree stealing is a crime. nowadays their are pirated DVD and microsoft. so i agree!

Don't waste other people's time (in the case of email spams).

Correct dont waste other people`s time because time is gold. and espcially when you spam their emials and doing nothing but to annoy them.,

Respect people and their privacy (in the case of spying people by reading their emails or using keyloggers to get private information such as passwords).
Online gamers are the number one victims of this keyloggers and info's being stolen or hacked accounts. So you should just focus your own life and not barge in to the other people's lives. They might be offended or explode to anger.

Be responsible (protection of your computer system against viruses and other threats in the Internet).

* We need to update our computers anti-virus to avoid any virus related events. It is a must to take care of your computer's status. It is all to avoid malwares or worms that can infect or destroy your system.

Arrow Be a law-abiding citizen (in the case of chat rooms, forums and discussion boards).

Being a citizen we should follow rules and regulations. Rules are made to be followed,
if we will not follow them we cant enjoy it.

Arrow Stealing is a crime (in the case of software downloads, intellectual property rights and copyright laws of articles you copy and paste).

Stealing is a crime like in the internet we easily get something in easy way. We didn't know that its illegal. Why do they put it
if we or someone cant see or copy it. They should not put it on so that it wont be copied by someone else..

Arrow Don't waste other people's time (in the case of email spams).

We should not do it to avoid it and to not waste time of the others. Spam is use to annoy someone. they are doing it because \
they do not have something to do.

Arrow Respect people and their privacy (in the case of spying people by reading their emails or using key loggers to get private information such as passwords).

We should respect them to be respected also. no one wants to have there password or account to be hacked
and we should be careful to those people. Respecting privacy is very important

Arrow Be responsible (protection of your computer system against viruses and other threats in the Internet).

Be responsible for your computer. We should cover our computer if not used,we should clean it regularly,
don't over heat it, keep it in cool place and put some anti virus
